Fire Mage is currently a bit behind Arcane when it comes to both raiding and Mythic+. It is pretty similar to Frost in both departments. All 3 Mage specs primarily do cleave DPS over all out AoE DPS, in which Fire is on a similar level as the other specs, but it lacks the same single target DPS that Arcane has, with also less on demand AoE.
